Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 7, 2026
AfterworkCoder ("we," "us," or "our") operates Milkmoon (the "App"), a baby tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch that families share.
A baby tracker holds some of the most personal information a family has, so here is the short version: it stays with your family. The App has no account, no server of ours, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs of any kind. We never receive what you log, and we have no way to read it.
What We Collect
Nothing. We collect no personal information, no usage analytics, no crash telemetry and no advertising identifiers. There is no sign-up, no email address, and we never ask for your address, phone number or insurance details. On Apple's App Privacy scale, the App's classification is
Data Not Collected
, apart from purchases, which Apple handles. What You Log, and Where It Lives
Your baby's profile (name and birth date) and everything you log — feeds, bottles, pumping, sleep, diapers, solids, medicines, growth, temperature, notes and reminders — is stored on your device and synced through your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit private database. That database belongs to your Apple Account, not to us; we cannot access it. If iCloud is turned off, the log stays on your device only.
Photos you attach to notes stay on the device where you added them. They are not synced or shared.
Family Sharing
When you invite someone (up to 6 caregivers), Apple's CloudKit sharing gives them access to your baby's log in iCloud. Invitations go by Messages, Mail or a link that you send yourself. Everyone you invite can see and add entries, and each entry shows the name each person types into the App as "your name on entries." You can remove a caregiver at any time, and they lose access. Sharing works only between Apple Accounts; the data travels between your family's devices through Apple's iCloud, never through a server of ours.
Exports and Reports
Spreadsheet (CSV) and PDF exports, including the pediatrician report, are created on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. You choose where they go. We do not receive them, and we are not told what you shared or with whom.
Apple Watch, Widgets, Live Activities and Siri
The Watch app, widgets, Live Activities and Siri shortcuts read and write the same log on your devices. The Watch talks to your iPhone directly. Siri requests are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; the App receives only the action you asked for (for example, "log a wet diaper").
Notifications and Reminders
Feed and daily reminders and the trial-ending reminder are scheduled locally on your device. They use no push token and no server. The App never sends notifications to sell Premium.
Suggestions
Nap and feed window suggestions are simple arithmetic done on your device, from your baby's recent entries and typical ranges for their age. Nothing is sent to any AI model or online service.
Purchases (Milkmoon Premium)
Premium is sold through Apple as a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Apple processes the payment and we never see your payment details; the App is told only whether Premium is active. If Family Sharing for purchases is on in your Apple Account, Apple may share Premium with your family group.
Sharing of Information
We have no information to share, sell or disclose. There are no third-party service providers, analytics vendors or advertising partners involved in the App. Apple's role is limited to processing purchases and storing your family's log in your own iCloud account.
Your Rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA grant rights to access, correct, delete or port personal data a company holds about you. We hold none. You can export everything as a spreadsheet at any time, edit or delete any entry, stop sharing with anyone, and delete all data from the App's settings. Deleting the App and its iCloud data (Settings → Apple Account → iCloud) removes it entirely.
Children's Privacy
Milkmoon is used by parents and caregivers, not by children. Details about a baby are entered by the baby's family and stay in that family's devices and iCloud. We do not collect personal information from anyone.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. If the App ever began collecting data, we would update this policy and the App's App Store privacy labels before that version shipped.
